With 1000 square feet and a very open concept, The Bonus Room can accommodate many types of events. Some of the most popular uses are for rehearsal dinners, wedding/baby showers, parties, team meetings, corporate events, and pop-up boutiques.

The Bonus Room can be configured in a variety of arrangements, depending on your needs. A group of 20-40 should have no problem finding plenty of space. One of the biggest benefits our space provides is the variety of cozy seating groups, making it an ideal option for even a small, intimate gathering.  Our official maximum occupancy is 49 people. Contact us for more information on what kind of seating configurations we can recommend to make it perfect for your group.

Yes! We do have a men’s & women’s restroom located in the hallway for use during your booking.

Anyone! You don’t have to be a resident of Lakeville, a Vikings fan (although that’s preferred) or a member of our secret club. The only rule we have is that renters need to be age 25 or older.

We provide the furnishings that are already in the space. We have two tables in the main living area that can seat 12 and 6 guests accordingly, 10 high-top bar stools, 2 couches, 6 living room chairs. We have seating for about 30+ individuals if you were to use every piece of furniture for seating. If you need additional tables or chairs you may bring your own or rent from an event rental company. 

Both of our table set-ups in the main space are two tables put together. As a whole, our high-top table measures 86” long x 43” wide (can be taken apart for (2) 43” x 43” tables and has seating for 6 around this table. Our longer, lower table in the space is also two tables combined and measures 172” long x 33” wide as a whole (or 86” long x 33” wide separately) and has seating for 12 when combined.

The hours available for rent are 6am-11pm. We are available by phone or email most hours. Feel free to contact us with any questions at info@TheBonusRoomLakeville.com.

We require a $250 refundable deposit. The deposit is fully refundable within 7-10 business days with proper clean up and lack of damage. We also require guests to pay for any damages that take place during their stay. Please note that we do take pride in the quality and care of our furnishings. Please take this into consideration before you book.

Due to the nature and time-sensitivity of this business,  reservation fees are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE once booked. You will receive your security deposit back in the event of a cancellation and if we are able to get the space rebooked, we would be happy to provide you with a refund in full, but if we are unable to rebook the space, you will be charged for the hours reserved. In extenuating circumstances, you may be issued a voucher equivalent to the hours booked to be used within 1 calendar year of your event.  Please read the terms and conditions carefully before booking.

The Bonus Room is a flexible, stylish space designed for gatherings big and small. Our guests use the space for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, graduation parties, rehearsal dinners, team meetings, corporate events, workshops, pop-ups, photo shoots, and intimate celebrations.

Our maximum occupancy is 49 guests.

Yes. The minimum booking time is 2 hours.

Yes. We do offer full-day and full-weekend bookings. Full-day bookings can be reserved directly through our website.

Yes. The Bonus Room hosts one scheduled open house each month for guests who would like to view the space before reserving. Please visit our website for upcoming open house dates and times.

To respect the privacy of our guests and their events, private tours are not available outside of scheduled open house times. Tours are also not permitted during another guest’s reservation.

Access instructions will be sent by email 2–3 days before your event. A unique door code will also be sent by text message to the phone number provided a few hours before your reservation begins.

The Bonus Room is a self-access rental space, so a staff member will not meet you onsite. Guests are responsible for letting themselves in, using the space during their reserved time, completing all cleanup, and exiting promptly at the end of the reservation.

Please be sure to reserve enough time for setup, your event, and cleanup. The property is monitored for early arrivals and late departures, and additional charges may apply if guests access the space outside of their reserved time.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, and plenty of counter space. There is also a long counter bar that works perfectly for buffet food, with plenty of electrical outlets for crock pots, along with space for drinks, desserts, and serving stations.

Please note that The Bonus Room does not have an oven or stove, and we are not a commercial kitchen space.

Yes. The Bonus Room has TVs available for slideshows, presentations, or photo displays. An HDMI cord is available for use.

If you are using an Apple product, please bring the appropriate adapter or cords needed to connect your device. There is also a soundbar that can be used as a Bluetooth speaker.

We recommend booking enough time for setup, especially if you plan to connect a computer or other device. Please allow extra time to get everything connected and tested before your event begins.

Yes. Restrooms are located in the hallway and are available for guest use during your booking.

Anyone may rent The Bonus Room. You do not need to be a Lakeville resident. Renters must be 25 years of age or older.

The Bonus Room includes the furniture already in the space, including tables, high-top seating, couches, lounge chairs, and benches. The layout can be adjusted to fit your event, as long as everything is returned to the way you found it.

Yes. You may rearrange the furniture to fit your event. We simply ask that everything be returned to its original place before you leave.

Yes. To help keep The Bonus Room clean, safe, and enjoyable for all guests, the following items and activities are not permitted:

• Open flames or candles of any kind

• Glitter, confetti, or other difficult-to-clean decorative materials

• Tape, nails, tacks, screws, command strips, or anything that could damage walls, ceilings, furniture, or other surfaces

• Pets or animals, with the exception of service animals as defined by applicable law

If you have questions about decorations or event setup, please contact us before your event. We are happy to help you find options that work well in the space.

Yes. Think of it like borrowing a friend's beautiful space: please leave it as you found it. Guests are responsible for cleaning up food, drinks, decorations, garbage, and personal items before the end of their reservation.

The Bonus Room is available to rent from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The Bonus Room is often booked back-to-back, especially on weekends. Please reserve enough time for setup, your event, and cleanup, as you will not be able to arrive early or stay late unless it has been arranged with us ahead of time.

If you realize after booking that you need more time, please check the online schedule first. If additional time appears to be available before or after your reservation, contact us at 651-400-7072 or info@thebonusroomlakeville.com with your name, booking date and time, and the additional time you would like to request. We will do our best to accommodate when possible.

Yes. A $250 refundable security deposit is required. The deposit is refunded within 7–10 business days as long as the space is cleaned up properly and no damage has occurred.

All bookings are non-refundable once reserved. This policy applies regardless of weather, schedule changes, emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances.
