The Bonus Room began with a simple dream: to create a beautiful, affordable gathering space where our community could celebrate life's biggest moments.

We're the Pannkuk family, and Lakeville isn't just where we do business—it's home.

Our family lives in Lakeville, our daughters attend Lakeville schools, and we're proud to be deeply involved in this incredible community. Joe is a Lakeville native, a graduate of Lakeville High School, and a longtime volunteer firefighter with the Lakeville Fire Department. Together, we've built our careers serving local families while investing in the community we love.

In 2016, we saw an opportunity to transform a building in Historic Downtown Lakeville into something special. We personally renovated the entire space ourselves, investing countless hours into creating an event venue that feels warm, welcoming, flexible, and beautiful—without the high price tag of a traditional banquet hall.

Next door, we also own and operate The Property Geeks, our locally owned real estate brokerage. Together, our businesses represent our family's long-term commitment to Historic Downtown Lakeville and our passion for supporting the continued growth of this thriving downtown business district.

Since opening our doors in 2016, The Bonus Room has welcomed thousands of celebrations and events, becoming one of Historic Downtown Lakeville's favorite gathering places for intimate celebrations and community events.

One of our favorite parts of owning The Bonus Room is seeing people create memories together. Every event is unique, and we're honored each time someone chooses our space to celebrate one of life's most meaningful moments.
